Disciples of Christ (Jamaica) is an approved charitable organization, which aims to help those in need in Jamaica.
We offer assistance with medical care, education and other basic needs for those unable to access these services otherwise.
Our group is run by volunteers who use their time and talents in the service of others, and all of whom have a personal relationship with God through His son, Jesus Christ.
our goal
Our objectives are based on “agape”, which is one of several Greek words for love.
More precisely, it refers to an intentional, sacrificial love that desires what is best for someone else. This type of love is not based on feelings, familiarity, or attraction; it is based on a conscious decision and is consistent with Biblical instructions on how Christians (i.e. Disciples of Christ) should live.
We serve as a demonstration of our obedience, and show this love as a practical demonstrations of our faith. In doing so, we will positively impact the lives of others, in both secular and spiritual ways.
