who we are
Disciples of Christ (Jamaica) is an approved charity duly registered with the Department of Friendly and Cooperative Societies (DFCS; Registration Number CAIN100-1529C).
Our company is completely not-for-profit and is run by a group of Christian volunteers. We use donated funds to advance projects that provide assistance in:
education (e.g. scholarships and assistance with school supplies)
health (purchasing equipment; providing financial assistance for medications and procedures, etc.)
other approved charitable causes
Our charity status allows us to benefit from exemption from certain taxes, including import duties and general consumption tax.
Additionally, all donors receive certified receipts and may then claim any contributed funds as tax deductible.
You may make your donations online using a credit card, either as single payments (any amount, as often as you like!), or you may opt for a fixed amount at monthly intervals.
Alternatively, if you have a project you wish to undertake for a good cause, then we may be able to partner with you to help to accomplish such a charitable venture, once it aligns with our beliefs and objectives.
